Wurlitzer CDM 4i Blowing fuse 5 and no display

Disconnect the output side of the transformer, fit a new 2Amp slow blow or time delay fuse and plug it in.
If it blows the fuse again or smokes, the transformer is at fault and needs replacing.
If it is fine, fault find the rest of the electronics,
Fuses are available from most electronic hobby stores or outlets, the transformer will require rewinding at a specialist workshop.

Did you check the wiring behind the fuse box and further back from there? There could be a damaged wire you've missed that's creating an electrical 'short' tripping that particular fuse.
Some electrical features on a vehicle share a fuse to keep the size of the fuse box smaller. That will probably be the reason the other problems are there.

The fuse is to protect the blower, you and other equipment. It is a warning that something is not working correctly.
If you have a multimeter, use it to see if you have a short circuit or a partial short circuit by using the ohm measurement.
Physically check the wires and and wire connections in the unit to see if there is any sign of shorting out - usually looks like a black smudge.
Do not replace the fuse with a higher rating fuse.
If you can find some short circuit, thoroughly clean the area, or replace the faulty wire, or both.
If you cannot find a fault easily, you may have to get the unit seviced.

You may want to check your speakers first if it's blowing the fuses. I have found that either open or shorted speaker coils will cause that. Try replacing the fuses and substituting two known good speakers and maybe you will find your amp is ok. You can temporarily substitute with smaller speakers just to test this.

we had the same problem with our 1015 vinyl omt, we replaced the ac/dc rectifier and the 2 big capacitors and the problem was solved. (it cost about 15 euro's) good luck!

take the back off the tv and inspect the glass fuse off the ac power cord, it will probably be black and open, this is a common problem, it blows because the degaussing circuit works too slow, the original fuse is an 6.3 amp fuse, you need to replace it with a 6.3 amp slow blow or a 7 or 8 amp fuse to keep it from blowing, if you put an original 6.3 amp fast blow fuse in it, it will work for a while, but will blow again someday.

This condition, may be produced by defective components (Q506, Q507). you can remove those transistor, replace the fuses, power-on and wait for relays click. if the fuses not blown again, them replace both transistor.

Any internal slow-blow fuse can be replaced with one of the correct value. Fuses do seem to have a finite life, so occasionally you can just replace the blown fuse  with an identical one and all will be well. However, fuses are protection devices , and it's more likely that you have a  short circuit or  defective component in your VS3251 that's causing it to draw too much current , and the internal fuse is blowing to prevent further damage. ie the fuse blowing is the symptom not the problem. Never replace fuses with ones of a higher current rating. Slow-blow fuses have the suffix T (for "Time Delay", and normal ones have F ( for "Fast"). With the street price of the VS3251 , a commercial repair is uneconomical
