I suggest you go to the web site of the Motherboard (MB) maker such as ASUS etc...
There, you will find in the tech section, the latest bios and the procedure to install it. It would be dangerous to describe one way and have it fail and ruin the MB!! Every BIOS and every MB maker has an explicit way they update the BIOS and this MUST be followed to the letter or permanent destruction will happen to your MB. This is the best advice you should follow.

BIOS is a software program that controls basic functions in your computer, such as boot order, keyboard control and how your processor interacts with memory cards. If you get an "NTLDR Is Missing" error, inspect your BIOS utility to make sure your computer is booting up from the right place.
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS
after you make any changes in BIOS press Esc then press the F10 button save to cmos to restart
cmos is located in BIOS

My mother Bord "GA-790FXTA-UD5" NO Booting
I heard that if you are using an X6 Processor you need to have the Bios Updated, From what i have read so far the only way to do that is use a X3 or X4 that is compatible with the current Bios to boot up and update the Bios. Upgraded computer and won't come on, no bios.
disconnect all and reconnct it.something jammed .may be *********** bord circuit is ground.
disconnect hdd ram then try.
to reattch one by one.
try with only smps ,mother bord and ram.
also check processor sitted correctly.
