If you want to play music on your dsi you have to convert it to aac files, most music is mp3 files but your dsi wont play mp3 files on your dsi unless to put them on your sd ames sd card, then if you put them in your system folder they open it they will play, but if you want to put them on a sd card they into the side sd slot you have to convert them, the way to do that is to download itunes, unless you allready have it, they play the track or tracks you want on itunes, stop the track and right click the track and click create aac version, wait for it to convert, you will hear a ring when it is done, then right click the converted file and click show in windows explorer, then put your sd card into your pc and drop and drag the songs you have in the windows file, you can put them in a music folder if you like, then when you have all the music you want on the card, put in into the side slot on your dsi then turn it on and open the sd card folder and you will see a music file, then open it a play your music, hope this helps you, cheers Roger M.

SOURCE: i dont know how to put music in the sd card

To add music to your DSi, first you need a spare sd card, and a pc or laptop that can sync with the card. Remember that the DSi only plays AAC type songs, so convert the songs you want to copy-paste on the card. This can be done easily on Itunes on which I use by right-clicking on the song and it will show you there ' convernt to AAC'. After saving the songs , take out the card from the pc or laptop and you can now insert the card in your DSi and play music and enjoy.

SOURCE: .Whats the use of r4 and micro sd in Nintendo dsi Lite?

you can play saved Roms without using the original game cartridge. Also you can load homebrew apps on it (Moonshell). With these apps you can transform your NDS into a multi-media player....(Movies,Mp3's, etc.). You will need some software to convert the movies to a format (dpg) to view them. I have a Nintendo lite, I would assume that all the flash carts would be similar for the Dsi. You might want to check the compatability of them with the Dsi.

SOURCE: i downloaded music onto a sd card but the dsi will

If you want to play music on your dsi you have to convert mp3 files to aac files, the dsi will not play mp3 files, the way to do this is to put the music you want to put onto your dsi into a playlist on itunes, right click and click the link to that says convert to aac, wait for them to convert them, it will say at the top when that is done, then right click the tracks you want to put on your dsi, click where it says show in windows explorer, then when you have all the tracks you want in that folder, then drop and drag the music onto your sd card, then put the card into your dsi, and then the musis should play when you click on sd musil files.

hello, Computers can play any audio formats (ex:- MP3) if you have right codecs installed, but the Nintendo is made to play music in AAC audio format only.
so you need find a program to convert your music.for example the music files are in MP3 format you will need to find a program that converts MP3 to AAC format.

My dsi froze

  1. You can trying loading your music on a different SD card to see if that resolve the freezing issue
  2. You can call Nintendo if you still have warranty and see they can replace the unit. With this option you will have to ship your DSi out and wait 4-6 weeks or more for it to return.
  3. If you had recently purchased your DSi I would return it to the place you bought it from and exchange it for a new one
Hope this helps

How to download songs from computer?

The new Nintendo DSi console can now play music, however it can only play AAC file type music, so if you have MP3 type, converting it is as easy as pie in iTunes. Also, once you have converted the songs, you need an SD card to store the songs in, and once done, you can put it in the DSi SD card slot and then play your music.
Hope this helps.
