Camera
If you're looking at the face of the phone, there will be volume adjustment buttons on the left-hand side. While using the camera, try pushing those buttons to get the picture back to the way you want it. The top button (volume up) will flip it upside-down or right-side-up. And the bottom button (volume down) will do a mirror image effect.
I have the exact same problem with my Samsung SGH-E250.
The target image on the viewing screen is always upsid down. no matter how you orientate the phone. This is a phenomenan which I imagine could only be possible with an inertia detection device that detects the camera's movement and swings the pictures accordingly. I am guessing, but maybe there is some solid state gyro that is used for image stabilisation. Like the type used in model helicopters.NO I am not standing on my head:-)
