To take the lid off, remove the two screws at the back and slide the lid backwards. If you try to lift the lid up, you will break the plastic catches. I learnt the hard way. If you do it correctly, it's easy.
At the back of the tray that holds the water container there is a small hole which allows access water to drain back down into the pump. Clean this hole(it will probably be full of fluff and hair). While you are there, there is two tubes at the back off the drier the thicker on of the two is the one that the access water drains into, make sure this is not split(mine was and I used self amalgamating tape on it to seal it again.) Replace lid, replace water collector, job done.

Hi I have an Indesit is70c dryer it seems to work fine for 10-15 mins but then trips the fues box in the house as it cuts out. I've had a look for at the fuse and have cleaned out all filters / condensers....

Do not overload the dryer as the motor can struggle and try to draw to much power.which could cause the trip to go to out, only load drum half full.....this applies to washing machines as well"NEVER OVERLOAD THEM" with washing machines it can affect the quality of your wash as well as putting extra strain on the motor.

Indesit is70c dryer is not heating?

Take off the back plate of the drier to expose heating elements. There you will find two thermo switches, one with a hole in the middle of it. Push something like a pin into this hole until you hear a click. Re assemble back plate and it should work now

3 The thermostats (stats) can tripout or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehaveprograms that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcodeshowing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also bethe fault.
