I have the georg jenson wave clock but don't know how to toggle between the 24/12 hour clock. Right now it's set for the 24 hour clock and I live in the U.S. and want the 12 hour clock setting.

  • Anonymous Jan 20, 2010

There is no "main menu" on this clock. Do you know this clock? There are 6 buttons on the back. The first being "Alarm On/Off." Then, "Alarm Set", -, + and icon that looks like a home and "Time Set." I would think that "Time Set" would have an option for 12/24 hour clock but it doesn't. Any other suggestions?

Well...this solution may be a few years late for the original poster, but I did figure it out on mine. If it's the same clock that sits on a rubber stand and you press the top edge back to activate the light, to toggle between 12 hour and 24 hour clock, you press the + and - buttons, simultaneously, for 3 seconds.

I tried to search for instructions on the web but have not been successful so far. Wonder what is the base make of the clock which georg jenson use. I would not think they manufacture their own stuff.

Can you try to reset the clock, ie, take battery out and put back in.

Does the default still come as 24 hour? Does it except alarm setting in 24 hour format?

I will try to find the instructions at a local shop in the meantime.

Not sure if you responded to my comments on your problem.

It is bit unfair to rate the solution when I had tried to suggest some tests whilst I was trying to locate some instructions on this clock. I have not given you a solution yet.

If you go into the main menu under "initial settings" there should be the option to reset the 24/12 clock. Thank you, Dana

The "mode" button is there to change the function of the + & - buttons.

If you press the mode button several times you will cycle through the various setting features of the clock.

Look for the one that sets the time zone and use the + or - buttons to select your zone.

Some experimentation may be required!
