Cannot delete profile

Hi,iam trying to delete one profile from my system its shows this message
Cannot delete 3846: access denied. (make sure the disk is not write-protected and that file is not currently in use) as i have the administrator rights,i tried restarting of my system also but still iam getting same message. can anyone help on this

Is the profile you want to delete also a administrator account? and 3846 is the name of the profile or the error code?! Also mention OS.

Go to safe mode & then try.....
to go to safe mode press F8 before os loads then choose safe mode.........

Pen drive? A USB drive? Have you formatted the drive? Do you have Admin. rights? Remove the USB drive , reboot the computer, insert the usb device, does the computer ID the device and apply a driver? Do you get a popup? Does it show in Computer? What are you trying to copy to the drive?

Hi,
Format your pen drive through computer management.
It will solve your problem

1. Go to desk top and right click on your my computer icon.
2. You will get one option called Manage.
3. Click on that , it will open a console.
4. Then click on disk management .
5. you will see your hard disk partition and pendrive.
6. Right click on your pendrive and format it.

Delete the autorun.inf file on the drive.You may have to set your computer to show hidden files and system files to see that file.

your computer has an Admin account or block by a virus. try to go to control panel then user profile then check if there is an admin account if not you are affected with a virus,, reformat and reprogram the pc is only the solution.. cheer^^

just format the drive and check . After that if the drive not opened then go to disk manager and delete that drive and again creat the drive then check

go to ur control panel and make sure ur not useing a guest profile u must be in a admin.profile to change any files and try deleteing all passwords for ur admin. profile this should fix it
