To convert music to AAC files you have to download itunes, if you dont allready have it, when you have done that play the songs you want to convert one by one in itunes, has you play them right click on the song, then right click create AAC version, when the track as been converted you will hear a bell sound, then right click again and click show in windows explorer, the songs you convert will go into a windows folder, the best way to do it is when the song goes into the folder drop and drag them onto your sd card, then as the songs go into the folder do the same, you can put them in a music file on your sd card to make it easy to open when in your dsi, when you have all the songs on your sd card, pop it into your dsi, then open the music folder and play your songs, hope this helps you cheers Roger M.

I want to down load music from windows media player to my ipod but don,t no how to

Hi darin68...
Windows media player will not download music to your ipod...you will have to download and install Itunes to download music to your Ipod.
Windows media player uses WMA files, and Apple Ipod uses ACC files...
You will need to change your songs from WMA to ACC files using this free file converter located on the following webpage.
After you convert your songs and download them to I tunes then plug in your Apple Ipod and Itunes will open and will also recognize your Ipod.

No instructions to get me started i have charged it up tried puting music on but it wont play

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

How to open in computer

Download and install I Tunes
Start I Tunes after installation and plug in your Ipod...I tunes will recognize it and then you can download your music from I tunes to your player.
Your music that is going to be dowloaded to your Ipod is ACC format...
If you have other music but not in the ACC format....say it is MP3 format you can convert it to ACC by using a file/song/video converter.
You can download a free file converter at: http://www.formatoz.com/

I need the psp slim manual so i know how to download music

If you mean music onto the memory card then all you do is connect it via USB or a card reader to the PC. The MUSIC folder is where you can put any MP3 or ACC files.

Need help with puting music on my mp3

if you are running XP it's simply a matter of copying the files to the player in the same manner that you copy and other files to a USB flash drive. I like to right click start, select explore, and work from there. you don't even have to worry about subfolders for different types of files you copy to the player. the player will present a list of files with the correct extension for each mode. (i.e. Music Mode will list only files with .mp3 extension, Photo Mode will only list .jpg files, etc.)
