Hi,

To use the embedded keypad

After pressing Fn+F8 to activate the numeric keypad, you must press the Lock key
(in the top row of the keyboard) to turn number lock on or off.
When number lock is on:
• Keys change to the numeric or arithmetic designations printed on the right side of the
keys in the numeric keypad area.
• The Num Lock status indicator is lit.
• To turn off the embedded keypad, press Fn+F8 again.

For further reference of usage of Function keys, check the HP manual:

Nags

I have a Tao Tronics hedset TT-BH01 and I can't get it into pairing mode. I have tried for 2 days.

I don't know if this is the problem you are having, but I had trouble figuring out how to get the headset into pairing mode. The problem is the manual is wrong! It says to turn the headset on, and then hold the function key for 8 seconds to turn on pairing mode--but holding the function key for 5 seconds just turns it off! After searching under some other models, I figured out that you have to hold the key for 8 seconds while it is off and then it will go directly into pairing mode. Hope that helps!

I cant figure out what is the shift key on my calculator. I have a Sharp EL-531W. I tried the 2NDF key and its not coming out right.

Regardless, that is the markings on the SHIFT key on Sharp Calculators. The 2ndF key accesses the functions that are marked on the face of the calculator, not on the top of the keys.

The word "off" is above the red button AC. I press it, nothing happens-a cursor keeps flashing and the figure 0. is showing

If you want the All Clear function, press the AC key. If you want to turn the calculator off, press SHIFT then AC. The functions marked above the keys are the shifted functions of that key.
