It could also be that the woofer is blown. Another thing, if the woofers are in a sealed enclosure, and they do not have their own dedicated air space, they could be "fighting" for more air.

My ads 2200w amp will not turn on. Running 2x jbl 804d in series, with 1farad pow cap. Had no problems until 3 days ago, just noticed I had lost bass.head unit is Sony med-r1 DVD multi disc.

Grab a multimeter, unhook the speaker wires, and turn the system on and check the voltage of your power wires at the amp. Also, make sure you have a good ground (meaning it isn't loose at all, free of paint, you shouldn't be able to move the bolt with your hand using medium heavy force.)
Also check the ohm load your presenting to the amp on the speakers as a pair not individually.
Post back.

I turned on my t.v. and there was no sound

First thing, make sure the mute feature isn't on. If it is not, go to menu and look for a feature that lets you choose whether you can use external speakers or internal speakers. Some newer sets have this option. If your set has this option, make sure your internal speakers are turned on. If this isn't the case, you could have fault in the 12vdc/15vdc section of your power supply board or on the mainboard of the set.

One Speaker no longer works, its the one that plugs into the other, is it broken for good? or is there a way to take it apart and fix it?

Hi !
Most of the time there isn`t any problem with the speaker but with the cable connecting the 2 speakers .Try to listen some music and move the cable a little and maybe you`ll hear the sound coming out from the dead box .
The cable is not that hard to be replaced but you will need a new cable and a soldering tool, ( or someone who has one )
But the majority of the people are just buying a new set a speakers when one brokes because these are one of the cheapest parts that can broke on a computer...same for the mouse or keyboard , a good specialist can still fix it but it doesn`t worth it if you can afford new ones.

Only my front speakers work in my 98 chrysler

If this is the original radio, you lasted longer than most. It could be the radio or the rear speakers. Again, if the speakers are original, they lasted a while (13 years isn't bad). If you plan on keeping the car, replacing the radio with a CD unit would be advisable. However, if this is an aftermarket radio that isn't too old, I would check the speakers. They may have blown. There are many cheap replacements that function much better that stock speakers do. They are available online or locally.

The belt in my car is not moving. The pulley attached to the altenator is not moving

...is the engine running?
If the belt is moving but the alternator pulley isn't, it's seized and the alternator needs to be replaced.
If the belt isn't moving at all, it probably slipped off the crank pulley.

Hi. I just bought a new JBL On stage micro III. The problem is that when I put my Ipod on the dock the sound only comes from the iPod and the speaker doesn't produce any sound at all but when I push...

Have you made sure the dock is compatible with the iPod version you have? If you are having to move the iPod around, this may be because the dock isn't built for the iPod you own.

It could also be a technical fault that the dock is loose. Take it/send it back to the shop and explain your problem.

After moving and resetting up my computer at my new address my Bose Companion 2 speakers do not work throough my computer. They do however, work plugged into my iphone

make sure that you are plugging into the correct socket for the speakers, if they are colour coded then use the green one, then check the volume properties on your computer to make sure the volume is turned up and that the sound isn't muted.
