GE Dishwasher - no water running upon start, humming, blinking Lights on Control Panel and beeping. Tried the reset, didn't work, shut off circuit breaker for awhile, turned back on. Dishwasher did not reset lights still flashing & still beeping and if close the door, it still hums but still no water.
Seems like the anti flood is activated when water (even a small amount) appears on the bottom of the machiene. This is usualy a leaking pipe but can also be caused by a clogged pipe. Most machiens do have a plastic pipe that (from the flat water tank) feeds water to the bottom of the machiene in case of an internal fault. The anti flood is normaly a polystireen float with micro switch on the base of the washer. This automatically puts the outlet pump on to drain the water. The machiene does not work exept the outlet pump in this mode.

I tapped on the float, removed the lower blade to see if there was debris, none found, pour a small amount of water in there, replaced blade. Turned circuit breaker back, closed d/w door, lights were blinking and a few small beeps, machine was running with no water; after 90 seconds the machine reset and the problem was resolved. I was able to run the dishwasher normally with no further incident. Thanks for all the help.
