The problem is due to incompatibility of Bluetooth drivers.
You might be able to install Microsoft Windows 7 in your Notebook but IBM doesn't release any compatible drivers for windows 7 for your Notebook. Drivers which are meant for Windows vista might work but it might have create compatbility problem in long run.

You can go to this link below and get all the drivers updates or patch for your Notebook.

http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/en/DriversDownloads/drivers.html

Or Download "Driver Genius Pro" from the link below and get driver directly for the hardware manufacturer sites. (Note :  you need to re-install the bluetooth driver or software before updating)

I recommend you do the second one first.

Thinkpad T61 in not use bluetooth

Hi, If you are having issues with your Bluetooth on the T61, you can try to check the Wireless/Bluetooth switch on the computer. then Try Pressing Fn+F5 on the keyboard to show if the Bluetooth is on or not. If it only shows Wireless, that on ly means that you don 't have any bluetooth on the computer.

I'm having a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad. All of a sudden my laptop keeps turning black. I keep getting the error message that display driver stopped working but recovered successfully but this may not always be...

Hi. I think you have uninstall your display driver and download the updated drivers on the Lenovo driver support website.

Go to this website and download the video driver for your laptop: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?doctypeind=9&template=/productselection/landingpages/downloadsDriversLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo
just make sure that you choose the correct or corresponding operating system that you have on your laptop (e.g XP, VISTA or Windows 7)

After downloading the video driver install it on your laptop then restart you computer. Goodluck!

I have thinkpad T61 it was loaded with vista. It

what kind of media are you loading? is this a DVD or a program disc? If this is a DVD disc, try loading a music CD or other type of disc to see if it is recognized. If so, its possible your PC DVD is unable to recognize that specifc type of DVD. Try other DVD's which you know worked before using Vista. Even though your machine says the device is working properly, check the Lenovo website for updated drivers for the DVD and the board chipset. Let me know if updating the drivers does not work. Meanwhile, I'll see if I can find out any more information from Lenovo.

Start by unplugging the non-essential devices one at a time and rebooting.... after you have found which device is causing you problems... use the install program for the device then shut down... add the device and see how it goes.
