How to install operating system - Microsoft Windows XP Professional

If you've installed win 7 in your system then you've to install another softwares to run another operating systems on single operating system. The Best I've used till now is "VMWare Workstaion" where VM stands for virtual machine. this can load almost tens of operating systems on single os. depending upon your RAM. After Installing this software you've to install win 8. so u can laod that os while operating in win 7 simultaneously.

Install the hard drive to the computer if it is compatible with the computer and install your operating system, you cannot transfer and operating system from one hard drive to another.

When your operating system stops working correctly, you might need to re-install it. In many cases, when you continue operating the same computer for years, installing and un-installing programs over and over again, sometimes certain operating system files don't work as well as they once did. When that happens, you can also start a re-installation of your operating system. If you use the same operating system for a number of years, it is often helpful to re-install the system software every now and then.

1. Put the original CD or DVD for the operating system in your CD or DVD drive.

2. Shut down your computer and restart the computer. Boot from the CD, if your system asks. This will start the installation process and will pause when a blue installation screen appears.

3. As the screen directs, press the "Enter" key to continue the installation process.

4. Press the "F8" key to continue the installation, agreeing with the Windows Operating System licensing agreement.

5. Press the "R" key on the next screen to attempt the repair process. This process will attempt to re-install all the operating system files that are on the installation disk without bothering any of the customization that you have done to your operating system. This process may take a few hours to complete, but when it completes, you should have Windows XP re-installed and working on your laptop.

you have installed a software that does not fit with your current operating system. try to search on the net the software for your cam with the compatible Operating system. download and install

If already you have an operating system you can install. If not you have to purchase an operating system.you can purchase an operating system from Microsoft website from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/buy/default.aspx
To install *Insert the os CD to DVD drive *When your PC's logo appears press F12 *Select boot from DVD/RW++ *Select "INSTALL NOW" *Select a drive in which the operating system is to install *Follow the Instructions....

first you need to format particular drive in which one prev operating system exist then you can install new fresh operating system with bootable CD

Please check if the Hardware of the Computer is compatible for installing Windows 7 Operating System.

The Drivers for Windows 7 Operating System is not available for download at the Drivers page of the Computer. However, Windows 7 has a special feature. Most of the generic drivers will be automatically installed during the installation of the Operating System.

Basically, partition up hard drive, install a "Boot Manager" install Each Operating system, at boot time, PC boots to a "Menu" where you choose which one to start.
OR Use Vmware or Virtual PC, Install on Windows, and you can add as many "Virtual OS's" that you need..

Did u format HDD in installing Vista? If not, it means the system had dual boot, and XP boot file was missed. u have to fix the boot file to support dual boot completely.

Your 80GB hard drive does not have an Operating System installed.

You'll either need to buy an Operating System Installer disk from a website such as this one (Operating System are located in the category Software>Operating Systems), or ask someone who has an Operating System Installer disk to install your Operating System of choice.

Just know that the hardware within your computer MUST be compatible with your Operating System of choice and that you MUST have the system resources to support your OS choice.
