Hi there, there are two possibilities here, one, the touch screen is compressed in 1 or more areas of the screen. two, it sounds like your PC has a prank virus in it that is causing unwanted side-effects. Try booting in safe mode on your tablet PC, and run a full virus scan.

I just got a lg tablet how do i get to the apps

If it is an Android based tablet, look at the "Home" screen, search for an icon that looks like a pile of "white bricks" in a square shape, then touch it. That should open the "Application" menu, and all the installed application icons are shown often in alphabetical order.

You can also see what applications are installed by entering the "Settings" menu (a small gear icon) and opening either "Applications" or "Application Manager". Here you can also decide if you wish to uninstall or disable unused applications.

Unable to move cursor on lenovo x61

Are you trying to move the cursor with the trackpoint, a usb mouse, or the pen? Have you tried restarting your computer? Restarting would likely solve the problem. If you can't move the cursor to the start menu, you can open the start menu with the windows key, use the arrow keys to navigate to the power options. Use enter to select the power options and shut down or restart the computer. If this does not work, press and hold the power button for 5 or 10 seconds to force the computer to shut down.

What happened before this occurred? Did you install any programs or updates recently, or change any settings on your computer?

Xo vision xtab factory reset

I had been trying to locate how to access the recovery options for the XO Vision XTAB tablet as well. Mine would show the XO Vision logo on start-up and then show a cursor in the upper left corner for a few seconds and then showed "ANDROID" a little further down and to the right of the upper left hand corner with a flashing cursor right behind it.

I was finally able to get into the recovery options press HOME, VOLUME UP, & POWER at the same time and hold for about 6 seconds or so. You need to let go before the XO Vision logo goes away. Wait until the logo goes away and a cursor should display in the upper left hand corner and then you'll get to the recovery / update options screen.

Use the VOLUME UP / DOWN keys to navigate the menu and then you'll press MENU to select the option. After that let it run through its processes until it completes. My attempt was unsuccessful at a factory reset and I'm still not sure how to fix it, however, you may have better luck.

I can't open .jar/.jad files in my tab GT P1000

Jad & .Jar are usually associated with games/application files To open a .Jad you could use notepad to see what it contains.. the file itself acts like an address page for the .Jad to unload into the correct places withing a Java program .
JAR (Java Archive) and JAD (Joint Application Development) files are packaged
files containing games and applications that can be unpacked onto your cell
phone with the use of a personal computer. Unlike similar files used by
smart phones, JARs and JADs are used on older and cheaper phones since the file
size is always small and can be easily extracted in order to load a game or
application.
  1. Attach the Tab/phone to your computer with its USB cable.
  2. Click and drag the JAR or JAD files to the root (starting) directory of your Tab/phone. On some phones, you need to instead move these to a games or apps folder.
  3. unplug the USB cable from the phone and the computer.
  4. navigate to the "Applications" or "Games" directory on the phone, where you will see the JAR or JAD file.
  5. Select the option to run or install the file. The application will be on your Tab/phone and ready for use..

How to set shortcut or hotkey in amazon Kindle

Hey there
I think you might find this one useful
● Home button (bottom row of keyboard) – Return to Home menu
● Shift Alt R – Reboot the Kindle
● Shift Alt . (period) – Restart just the GUI (graphical user interface)
● Shift Alt G – Grab a screenshot. Screenshots can only be stored on an SD card. A .gif image file will be saved to the SD card.

● Alt Z – Rescan your Kindle for pictures
● Alt T – Show the time

The stylus for my gateway m280e is unresponsive, it is able to track the cursor across the screen but it can not select anything when double tapped, or write in one note? What could be the issue?

You can change the way the cursor functions. Here is how. From the "Start Menu", select Control Panel in the (right pane), next select Hardware and Sound, select, the "Mouse". In the Mouse, "Properties" (window) change mouse functions. "I hope this "Fix it"
