Silence Mode I have a LG VX4400 I can not get it off silence or manner mode the phone automatically changes between them and I tried using the speaker and * button but nothing happens, what can I do?

You can silence the ringers on the base and handsets at the same time. It doesn't affect the visual ringer on the phone in standby, press and hold Silent on the base. The phone automatically turns on the answering system and shows Do Not Disturb in the display on handset. (The answering system answers any incoming calls without playing anything through the speaker.)To cancel, press Silent again. If you turn the answering system off while Silent Mode is on, the phone turns off Silent Mode.

To activate Silence All:
Press and hold the volume key (on the side of your phone) down in standby mode.While holding the phone this can be accidentally be pushed & set.
(The screen will display "Silence All.")
To deactivate Silence All:
Press the volume key (on the side of your phone) up repeatedly to select a desired volume level.

Lock Mode (Quick)
Use Lock Mode to prevent others
from using your phone.
1. In Standby Mode, to activate Lock
Mode quickly, press (for 3
seconds).
Phone is now locked! will be displayed.
NOTE To cancel Lock Mode, press Soft Key 2
Unlock, then enter your password (4 digits).

pls change the speaker of your phone the loud speaker is fine and the earing speaker is gone

there r three modes. 1)ring mode. 2)vibration mode. 3)silence mode. so it would be on silence mode.just make it ring mode from silence mode. which can be done by going into settings then in to ringer and volume option.in that you can select. thanks.

press and hold the speaker icon on your main screen. It should go off the vibrating mode.

My phone somehow went on silence all and now I don't know how to get it off. how can I turn sound back on?

the microphone button works with the phone closed.
with the phone open, press and hold the * key (about 2 seconds)
it will cycle from manner mode to silent mode to normal mode

Your phone is probably displaying "Manner Mode" on the LCD screen. Press and hold the * key for 3 seconds to toggle betwix "Manner Mode," "Silence All" and "Normal." You want "Normal" (which doesn't display anything in place of "Manner Mode." You got into Manner Mode by pressing the Record button while the phone was closed.

try via using another profile in settings...option is there...else restore ur handset.....if that silent mode does not remove then do flash upgration....speaker is fine if u r able to hear the incmoing call.
