Your phone was manufactured by HTC and uses the Windows Mobile Operating Platform. As such there are two programs you can download but which one you need will depend on your computer's operating system.
Download and install Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 if you run Windows Vista
or Windows 7 on your computer and you want to sync content between your mobile
phone and your computer. Windows Mobile Device Center is only compatible with
Windows Vista and Windows 7. Download here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931937
This was successfully acheived by opening Windows Mobile Device Center first from the Start Menu, then connecting the smart phone while the WMDC was still open. All the previous attempts I was expecting WMDC to open automatically when I connected the JasJam.
It depends on what operating system you are working on - MicroSoft Vista or 2000? or XP?
If it is any other than Vista then Please visit www.downloads.com and search for Microsoft activesync. You may download the latest activesync there and install it.
after installing the software you will then need to connect your i-mate with the PC, most preferably with a USB cable. Follow the instructions that come then and there you are!
