My sd card will not mout to my phone every time i go the the memory card in setting and i try to format it and i cant it dont pop up to format it

You need to format the card. If you have an otion under memory in settings, sometimes there is an option to format the card there. Otherwise, put it in your computer, go to the samsung site or a format card site and format it for your phone. I transferred all my contacts to a card and there was no order to them, I had forgotten format the SD card. This doesnt happen on a SIM card...only CDMA phones with SD cards

I had the same problem with an HTC Aspire ( I think that's what it was called :} Anyway I formatted the micro SD card in fat 32 through my laptop using a micro sd to sd adapter and the sd card slot on my laptop. I then stuck the micro sd card back into the HTC and it worked. I heard formatting through another phone works too. Try it and let me know.

dude download avest anti virues free from google and scan ur memory card then format it m sure it will work.

There Are two ways to format sd card
1) by Phone : Go to Memory card option
Gallery - memory card - option - format
& ur card will be formatted

2) By pc : connect ur phone to pc or sd card reader & right click on removable disk which is your sd card's slot & select format option.
Then it will ask for custom & quick format, select one from them & ur card will be formatted

If you are using it with the SD adaptor, the swith at the side marked lock is not to secure the micro sd card within the adaptor. This is the write protection. If you set this to the 'unlocked' position (up) then you should be able to write files onto it!

When i insert memory card it says not allowed

I just got a new LG shine CU720 to format the card you go to settings, reset settings, master clear, memory card, my security code was 0000. Hope this helps someone else looking.
