2006 Honda CR-V; had front driver's side headlamp bulb replaced and car battery replaced and now the odometer backlight doesn't work -- a related issue or separate and is it expensive to fix?

You can replace the instrument cluster bulb with a regular halogen bulb, or use T5 led bulbs that come in a variety of colors (white, blue, etc.) They are inexpensive and will last a lot longer than the regular halogen bulbs.

Replacing the faulty bulbs isn't too hard for DIY.

Hi, I have a Cobra 29 NW ST CB Radio and I was wondering something about changing the stock burnt out bulb to an LED. Does it matter which wire goes to the negative side of the LED and which one is the...

LED's do matter how they're installed.
Test your LED leads w/ a batt. first before soldering in you 29 board.

Look at you existing leads from you burnt out bulb. One red?
Then its your Pos terminal. when your LED lights up on your Batt. test you'll know which one is the POS/NEG legs. then resolder it into your board.

Broke my gerber 3.0 flashlight

Wow what entertainment. Both the poster and the bobint17 don't have a clue how this flashlight works... why answer a question you don't know the answer too? To screw with people? To sound like you know what you're doing?

Anyway, the Gerber TX 3.0 uses a Luxeon 3 LED. There is no bulb. It is not designed as a user replaceable item and unfortunately even someone skilled at soldering and such can't fix the light because the head is permanently attached and not designed to be removed allowing access to the LED assembly. Can the head be removed? Possibly. Will it damage something while trying to remove it with a lot of force? Possibly. Should you try? No. Why? Because the light has a limited lifetime warranty from Gerber. Send it to them and they will fix or replace it!!!
