Water Leaking from the bottom of the Refrigerator

GE Side by Side Refrigerator is leaking water from the bottom of the unit. It is leaking on the Water and Ice Dispenser side. It is a slow leak but constant. What could it be? I have checked the water supple line going in the back of the unit and it seems to be fine.

I have the same problem with my Arctica refrig. There is a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. How do I locate the defrost drain hole? Thanks in advance!

We have water leaking every so often on both the freezer side and the refrigerator side, right at the front corners. It's not constant, it just seems to happen randomly one side and then the other. We also have the sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. What's going on?

We have a similar problem with our GE Profile. Water is leaking from the corner of the freezer side. It is not constant. I usually notice a puddle in the morning. At first I thought we may have dropped some ice underneath the freezer door/ It does not appear every morning however it is happening more frequently..

Is there a tray underneath the refriderator that may need to be empty? Our refriderator is an older model but had no problems with it up until just recently with the puddle of water in the morning?

Mine was doing the same thing. Turns out the water supply line was broken just above the bottom hinge for the door. I had to remove the shelves on the freezer door by removing the screws around the door behind the seal and then spliced the line up by the dispenser and behind the grille at the bottom. I used 1/4" supply line that was left over from hooking up the supply line and two 1/4" to 5/16" adapters from lowes. A fisch tape makes it easier to run the new piece through the door but the fix was pretty simple overall.

10 yr old GE side by side: freezer is leaking

Your drain is frozen up and so every time unit goes into defrost the water refreezes in the freezer's bottom. You either have to shut fridge off completely and let it dethaw or use hot water and an ice pick to hurry up the process. The drain is located in the very back of freezer. You will have to pull out the bottom drawer to see it. Good luck

GE Monogram leaking water on right side bottom door

If this refrigerator has a Energy Saver mode, turn it on.

Then, check the door gasket for the refrigerator to make sure it's not leaking. Test by placing a crisp dollar bill on the door jamb with the door open, close the door, and you should feel resistance to pulling the dollar out. Check with particular emphasis on the place where you see water leaking or accumulating
