Hi,I bought a brand new motorola z3, but they forgot to give me an installation CD, now I can't upload my photos, music or anything like that, it doesn't reconize the removable device. Where can I download the installation? What do I do? I can't go to the guy anymore because it was quite a while ago, but I am tired of not being able to upload music to my phone, photos etc... thats why I bought this phone in the first place.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.
Theres something wrong with the settings, try to call a customer service representative with your network provider, they can help you reset the settings so that you can be able to transfer photos in your pc.
You can get songs on your phone in two ways,
Either Purchase online, or you can use a USB Data Cable
connect to your phone,
(Note when you connect your phone, shut down the motorola phone tools after it starts, this will simplify the process)
If you have your Motorola Z3 Drivers installed you plug in your
phone, you will see a notice that a new Flash Drive or USB mass Storage device is connected.
Open My Computer, then go to the folder containing the music you would like to install on you phone.
Now open a second My Computer Screen and select the Drive Letter that represents your phone, this should be the highest letter alphabetically.
Open the "mobile" folder, then inside that folder you open the audio folder. this is the folder you install your music to. Just drag the mp3 format music from your source folder to the audio folder. wait till the
copies are completed. then go to the bottom right of your screen down by the clock, and click on the little green arrow and Safely remove your device. click stop on the mass storage device..
You can just ignore this error. It is because Mobile Phone Tools interacts with Microsoft Outlook and Windows has a security check for this. There is no problem as a result of this.
1) Download P2K Commander (make sure the archive has the p2kdrivers folder). Unzip and run P2KCommander . 2) Point your Device Manager to the p2kdrivers folder and install the Motorola MCU Data logger, etc... devices. 3) If your skin folder has a 'install_yourskin.p2kc' file, just click it and P2KCommander will install the skin. 4) If the install.p2kc file is missing read below: - Open P2KTools
- Plug Your Phone on the Cable * On E398, V635 I sugest take the TransFlash off
- When the status apear 'Connected'
- Hit 'Refresh' to get the file list.
- Select the folder 'Skins'
- Right Click on the folder 'Skins' Will apear a sub-menu Select the option 'Create Folder'
- Put the Name of the Skin, must be the same name of the '*.ski' File!
- Hit 'Refresh' to get the new file list.
- Select the new folder that was cereated. (The one that contain the same name of the *.ski)
- Hit 'Upload' to upload the skin files to the phone.
- Select all the files with *.DAT and *.Ski Extension
- Hit 'Open' to Upload
- Wait a Minute while P2KTools Send the files to your phone.
- Select the folder 'Picture'
- Hit 'Upload'
- Select the wallpaper and Screen Saver of the skin
- Hit 'Open' to Upload
- Wait a Minute while P2KTools Send the files to your phone.
Done it, restart your phone and check out your new skin..
You do not need to install anything, unless you want to be able to charge your phone by connecting it to your computer's USB port. If you want to do this, you can get the driver here:
You don't need this driver to upload photos or to put small mp3s on your phone from your computer, just make sure your phone is on, showing the home screen with the flip open, then connect your phone directly to your PC (not through a hub). When it asks if you want to use connect as external storage, press yes & wait until the screen goes white on the phone, then go to MY COMPUTER & click MS DEVICE. You can now see the phone's folders. But the memory on the w375 is tiny & you can't expand it, so the only point in putting mp3s on your phone is if you want to use them as ringtones.
To install new skin ,u need to download skimanv0[1].47 software u find it on web.then download motorola USB driver software from motorola.com. u need to register on motorola.com. then skin manager software could read ur phone skin . Download skin from modmymoto.com and install it using skimanv0[1].47 on ur phone and enjoy!!!! i usind vista skin on my phone now, if any problem [email protected]
