You may have a large particle of debris trapped or one of the cell plates is bent and too close to one another.

There is no ticking sound. Is my Enviracaire Elite working? I think I put the filters in when and had the button in the on position. how can I know if it is working?

1. Make sure the furnace or air conditioner blower is running.
2. Make sure the access door is firmly closed and latched. If door is not closed properly, an interlock keeps the air cleaner off.

F300E powers up in purge mode, but shuts off when heating

In the heat mode your furnace fan operates in a lower speed. when your zone panel purges it powers the G terminal in your furnace, which is high speed. You may have an airflow problem if your EAC is powered directly to an outlet, you may have a bad air pressure switch, or if the eac is wired to the furnace control board, it is mis-wired..more info needed.

Honeywell F300E not cleaning air.

A newly installed system should still be under the contractor's labor warranty. Call them and ask them to come out to check on the unit and explain what you wrote above. This should cost you nothing and is the best way to get to the bottom of the problem.
