Sounds like the power relay on the power supply board had let go on you. The indercator light is only to show that the power supply has power. The board can be replaced. They are not that expensive. Most of the time you can find them on ebay. They're is a lot of screws to take out before you can get to the board. Be sure to disconnect the power before removing any screws. I do hope that this helps you in some way.
Probably the its a frozen reader issue, try these steps:
1. Connect the reader to the computer 2. While the reader is connected hit the reset button for 3 seconds, and make sure the redlight comes on. 3. Leave the reader connected for 15 minutes, then disconnect it and see if operational now 4. If the reader still not turning on, try the reset and slide the power switch.
Greetings. I have a Samsung LN26A450, turn on and normal listening but no video, the screen is black. I opened it and found the F4 in the inverter card open, stamped value says "15" on the board says "0.75A/76V", I put that value and reopen, maybe the value is 1.5 A or 15A ?. I measured most components in the board and are ok.
your a/v cords may be fried along with the ports... and did you ever turn the xbox OFF before you went to bed? if not, you could have:
1. fried the leds
or
2. overheated the motherboard.
try getting a new a/v cord and check the ports on your tv. are you hooked up to HDMI? if so, you might have put them in the wrong slots somehow or the ports might have been shot.
The most common problem this set has is the Horizontal Output shorting, usually caused by the High Voltage transformer drawing to much current.
Whether it's the high voltage circuit or the power supply, having a tech look at this set would not be cost effective.
Start looking at the newer technology.
Hope this helped.
