Dvd/tv hook up

Hi, I am trying to hook up my dvd player and actually get it to work. I have a sanyo tv and a orion vcr player hooked up. I have already been able to hook up my remote so that it runs my vcr and tv, but when I try to get the dvd player to work I can't get it to work. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Can you please help me?

Hi,
I am not sure if you unplugged all the cables from your VCR to your TV, If so double check the hook up. When you unplugged the POWER to the VCR the memory was lost. Try and find the menu or set up on the remote. Again the audio out from the VCR needs to be hooked to the audio in on the TV and the video out from the VCR needs to be hooked up to the video in on the TV. Keep trying !!!
