Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I found that this problem is actually related to the CPU frequency being dynamically ajusted to decrease power consumption. To prove my point try downloading something like prime95 www.mersenne.org that will load your cpu and keep it close to 100% use. Lower the priority of prime to idle and play your audio file and you should no longer have any skips. The only problem with this solution is that it is power consuming and not environment friendly at all... I'm still looking for a definite fix.

Have you tried downloading & installing an updated driver from the Toshiba website?
