Just replaced lamp. when plugged in, power light is red. if you turn on, blinks green for a while and then goes red. lamp light also stars blinking after a couple minutes. ideas?
Km, I'm having the exact same problem,...lamp housing is secure and so are all covers. From my research the power button will flash yellow when the covers are not secure. This is not my first time at replacing the lamp,...but now, after replacement, powers green flashing, then red flashing, followed by lamp flash red every 5 seconds,...research continues.................
Lamp light flashing once every 5 seconds or twice every 5? Twice every 5 seconds,....lamp failure, once every 5 seconds,...ballast or thermal fuse failure. You have a lamp, ballast or thermal fuse problem. The ballasts are a discontinued part and can only be purchased used at approx. $225.00 or rebuilt for around $175.00 less any service charges to diagnois and repair. Ballast part # LSEB3087a. Lots of additional info at AV science forum and a free downloaqd for service manual.
