you have a bad damper assy.when it gets cold enough in the fridge section the damper door closes so the cold air can't blow in from the freezer side,the door isn't closing allowing the cold air to keep coming into the fridge side 2220377 part number and this is electronic damper.if you order it from repair clinic you have 365 days to return it if it's damaged or it isn't your problem they will take it back,i'm 99 percent positive that this is your problem,when i would call the customer and get model number and ask a few questions i would take this with me when i go to the house from the discription you're giving.

The settings are "relative". Someone with this fridge in Montana may need to run the same fridge with different settings than someone in Texas to get the same temperatures.

Many manufacturers recommend that the fresh food compartment should be 34 degrees F, and the freezer -10 to 0 degrees F. To set this properly, place a thermometer in the freezer (that can display temperatures as low as the desired temperature). Adjust the thermometer for the correct freezer temperature before going on to the fridge. A fully stocked freezer could take 12 hours or more for temperatures to stabilize after making changes to the thermostat. Once the -10 to 0 degree temperature has been achieved, set the fresh food compartment temperature.

Place a thermometer (that can display below freezing) in a 6 (or so) oz flexible plastic cup of water and place on a shelf in the fridge. A glass of water could break if the temperature gets below 32 degrees if the water turns to ice. The water acts as a buffer to rapidly changing temperatures when the door is opened to read the thermometer. If the fridge is "full", allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize before making changes.

If the fridge and freezer are empty, changes may be seen in just a few hours or less. Otherwise, wait the 12 / 24 hours for the freezer / fridge compartments.

There is a normal setting of the thermostat for the fridge and freezer and you can select the fridge setting to be lower than normal than what is set presently.
If there is no change then the thermostat is not cutting off the cooling and so there is no control of temperature within the fridge. Allow the lowest setting of the thermostat in the fridge section to confirm this fault.

Freezer not working

Your refrigerator has a Control-defrost,adaptive timer ,PC board part number 241508001
This is providing your model is the one listed above your post WRS3R3EW. The model you listed in post does not come up. Until we can determine that the freezer is not defrosting you need to unplug and remove the back panel of freezer compartment to see if the evaporator coils are frozen or clear. If frozen this alone will cause a chain reaction that keeps vents to fresh food compartment open and cause freezing in that area. This is a bad design flaw, the fridhe is cooled by fan forced air from the freazer. Two ducts vent into and out of the fridge fron the freezer and ice can block them up (which you can find if you take off all the plastic at the top and back of the fridge).
Hence, when they block up, the frindge does not cool, hence the thermostat tells the fridge to keep running which makes the freezer colder and colder, making the blockage worse.

You need to not only fully defrost the freezer (which can be done quicker by removing the plastic panel in the back of the freezer and using a hairdryer) BUT also fully dry the fridge before turning it back on.
To stop it happening again, avoid puting unvovered liquids or hot items in the fridge. Also avoid leaving the fridge and freezer doors open for long especially in humid conditions. As I said, it's a bad design.

The mother board located inside the lower rear portion of the unit is bad,if you have recently had lights blow out this can cause a surge and ruin the mother board,also if there are relays clicking and lights are blinking dimly this is a good sign the board is bad
