First make sure that you are getting suction from the bottom of the machine. Most of the time the squeegee is worn out which does not allow it to pick up the water like it use to. Turn over the machine and inspect the squeegee. If it looks worn or bent then it may be time to replace it. You may also consider replacing the filter. These are the two most common parts that wear out.

How do I check my hoover floormate deluxe spinscrub's filter and motor? Thanks in advance!!

The filter is at the top of the recovery tank (dirty water tank), should be replaced when dirty or odors occur. as to your motor, there is no way for an end user to remove any cover and check it. If you are experiencing noise, have it checked by an authorized service center.

Hi, how do I check my hoover floormate deluxe spinscrub's filter and motor?

Hi Mike! To check the filter on the Floormate deluxe, remove the dirty water tank and pull up on tank lid to separate from the base. Check foam filter for debris, if filter has debris, rinse it with water. To prevent internal damage make sure you are using only the Hoover Floormate detergent. If the machine is still noisy and smells bad we recommend taking it in to a Hoover authorized service center. Follow the link to find the nearest service center to you. Hope this helps! The SpinScrub scrubs the floor beautifully, but doesn't pick up the water/solution. I needed to use a mop to get up the liquid. Any suggestions?

I have a hoover spinscrub 800. It washes great

in some cases when this happenes it's usually from a really bad filter or the squeege at the bottom of the nozzle. the squeege is what makes contact with the floor and suctions all of the water up. to take off. take off the nozzle and there will be (3) screws inside of the nozzle. once these screw are removed, the squeege can be removed. at hoover.com the replacement part # is 93001094. ( according to model # H3060 )

Hoover spinscrub water keeps coming our

Check the machine where the water tank is installed, you will see a pipe stem this stem should have an o-ring gasket on it. also look at the plunger in the tank for proper seating.

Hoover floormate plus model #H3010

It seems to be a common problem with this series of floormate... some home quickfixes (a hassle, i kno) but put downward pressure while using the solution.... Check your warranty that came with it, and how long you purchased the floormate... Alot of vaccuums come with 30-90 warranties, I'd recommend having it checked out. That, or if u bought it recent enough, take it back... like i said, these models are unfortunately known to have this problem... Some people have ones that operate normally, but alot do not. >.<
