Question about GE Energy Star WCVH6260F Front Load Washer
If the model number is correct, this is a Safety Lock feature that allows the consumer to lock the control panel to prevent any of the front panel selections from being manipulated. This is used primarily to prevent small children from accidentally turning the washer on.
To turn the feature on/off, press and hold the LOCK button for 3 seconds. The Lock icon will go out when the washer is unlocked. These instructions are on Page 7 of the owner's manual. If you do not have an owner's manual, you can download or print a FREE copy at managemylife.com. Just type in the model number under the "Manuals" link and the owner's manual and installation manual is available in a .pdf (Adobe) format.
If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
