We have no signal recieved from our sky satallite

If this is an atomic clock. I have a sky scan and as soon as it gets its signal,it will be ok. God-Bless!

it needs a clear view of the sky from the vehicle lots of trees or buildings can block the signal

These are the following things that needs to be checked if you dont recievet he GPS Signal, They are as follows

1) Check BAUD rate and PORT of your Device
2) Ensure battery is fully charged ( AC or via USB) prior to use. lesser power gives you poor gignal recieving ability
3) ensure clear view of the sky, if the sky is cloudy you wont able to recieve the signals
4) keep away from mobile phones or other electronic items since they cause interference.
5)There could be damage to the SIIRF chip because you have it plugged into car power when starting engine.So always switch off the device while powering on, If the SIIRF Chip is failure, then you need to replace the chip..

make sure it has a good view of the sky and let it aquire the satellites for a while. It may take sometime for it to figure out it's location once it starts seeing the sats. if you have it in a car, try another location. on the dash up near the window is a good spot for it to receive signals.

you havent got another channle sitting on top of your hd channel have you . also is the hd cable pushed in all the way.

If you are on Satellite then it only works off of channel 3 and you will not get any other channel on the tv set. But you will need to turn your sat box remote to change channels.

You can find out if the remote is broken by taking a camera with an LCD viewfinder (such as a camera phone) in a dark room, point the remote at the camera and in the viewfinder you will see a light coming from the remote if it is working. If you see a light, chances are the remote is good. If not then the remote is more than likely bad.

Sharp 42" lcd. TV accessed incorrectly. Resulting in no picture.
Using TV remote, changed from analog 2 to input 4. Turned off TV remote. Returned to satallite remote, turned on TV, turned on satallite, still no picture. We seem to have power but no satallite signal. Ist time users of satallite TV.
