My D-Link DIR-615 wireless n router has a gateway of 192.168.0.1. I type this into the URL, and it won't work. I can access this router from every other computer on my network by doing this. It isn't the wireless card, because I've tried doing it with multiple wireless cards. I also cannot access files from other computers. My operating system is Windows XP Media Center. I've already tried turning the firewall off. The internet on my computer works fine. I can change the IP address of the wireless card on this computer, so apparently the router sees the computer fine.
How to conect my laptop internet and wireless network
I can't access my router though the url

Try disabling pop ups. if it has a username and password box, windows treat them as pop ups. you can also delete the files and cookies on your browser.
Most of todays routers will not let you conect wirelessly for safety reasons
I posted a solution I was given on May23. I fogo my password and I was entered as a guest. In addition to the information I furnished above, I also spoke with a tech from my DSL carrier (Embarq), this tech had me do a reset on modem and router. When this did not work they transferred me to the tech from Netgear who furnished me with the information that I passed on. My next idea is to go to Circuit City and speak to Firedog and see if they might have some insight. I will pass along any information I find out.
I used to be able to access the URL HTTP://192.168.0.1 until April 5th. (view my comment above,) I spoke with a representative from Netgear and she advised me to go to www.myrouterlogin.com. I tried this and it brings up a screen that asks for user name and password. When I asked her how I could link up another computer to the router, she could not provide an answer. I don't know if once you go to the myrouter.com if you can change your password and user name. It does not make any sense to me. One would think that tech support could be better and give you some answers.
I have the same problem. It seems to me to be like this. You can only access router's ip address if its wired (ie with yellow ethernet cable). One you are wireless it wont come up. Does anyone know if this is correct? Or should we able to access wirelessly. Not sure how all this works.
Try the following URLs:
http://192.168.1.1/
http://192.168.1.254/
SOURCE: I can't access my router through the URL.
If your computer is connected to your dlink network you should be able to access.check the ip address on the computer.if correct ip address optimized browser by deleting cookies and temp files. Also try downloading firefox

IP address setup is through your modem, not your router.

You will need to visit the D-Link and check the virtual videos to help you set up the D-link for static addresses. this is what you will need to do.

That didn't work. I know that the number I'm looking for is 192.168.0.1 because I can do it with other computers on my network.
