Question about Fellowes Powershred PS-60 Shredder
I have a
Fellowes Powershred PS 60CC
about 2 weeks ago it started turning slow when 3 pieces of paper were entered, before it would eat through 5-6 pieces of paper with no problem at all.
you could even put Credits cards through and it eat them them with no problem (rebates come as CC's now)
anyway it started having problem eating 3 sheets of paper and yesterday I put a paper through itand went right after to enter another piece of paper an nothing.
I wonder if the power board went out on it.
The swith light works and the safety switch on the bottom corner works.
any ideas ??
Thank you
Robet

SOURCE: Fellowes PowerShred PS 40 with defective switch
Its just seated together with the gear/blades housing ,
make sure you didnt miss one screw, then pry and pull upward its just stuck as the gear housing and blades are pressed in and seat firmly making it seem like its stuck , over time all that paper goo is also binding it up .
Heres a few sites that have gears another that has manuals you may have to call or email as not all parts are listed on website

I continued to search via Google until I found the manual for this shredder, which I then printed out and read how to lubricate the shredder.

WHICH OF THE PLASTIC GEARS FAILED? FELLOWES HAS A REPLACEMENT THAT CHANGES A PLASTIC GEAR TO A STEEL GEAR-A GREAT IMPROVEMENT.
