I can download the book but when I go to play it the clip says I have to synchronize to continue my music subscription. I have formatted twice and still get the same thing!! Help!!
Synchronization has nothing to do with formatting.
It has more to do with timing, such as a time setting.
The Sansa Clip works with Windows Media Player 10 or 11, easily syncing playlists to the player from your PC.
it works with Vista, Windows XP SP2, and Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can download MP3 or WMA files onto the player. SanDisk says the 1GB Clip can play about 15 hours or 250 MP3 songs and about 30 hours of music and 500 WMA songs. The 2GB plays up to 30 hours and 500 MP3 songs, and 64 hours and 1,000 WMA files.
Windows Media Player, my PC recognizes the Sansa Clip player immediately. It does not list the songs that are already on the player, but it makes it simple to create a playlist and sync it to the player.
you need at least media player 10 or better( xp automatically loads 11, 2hrs40min on 56k) then you must have service pack 2 winxp ver. or MP11 wont finnish loading. then you can start with your computer recognizing your new hardware and loading music.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Have you tried connecting to the net and then continue to subscribe??

Try your Windows Media Player settings.
See if you have the "copy protect music" option checked.
Contact Sandisk here: [email protected] They should give you a reasonable response in a matter of days.
For furture reference update the firmware on your player for better usage, http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.as...
One more thing You must continue your subscription to rhapsody or some other music on
line store. Where are you getting your songs from????? You need to
renew your subscription with them.
If your using Rhapsody:
rhapsody. Click tools->Deauthorize Computer. Confirm that the tools menu now contains Authorize Computer.
Click Authorize computer.
Then resync.
This is for windows media player:
a) Open Windows Media Player
b) Click the Synchronize tab
c) In the drop-down menu on the right, choose the device that you want to format (It may already show your Sansa device as selected)
d) Click the Format storage media button (the pencil icon)
Make sure to save ur files or songs before formatimg..
Another cause of the Sync error that many people are seeing is that the battery is running low in the device. Apparently a low battery can cause the internal clock on the device to begin running slow which throws it out of sync. This behavior can be seen well before the device stops playing your non-subscription music.
Replace the battery and then transfer a single track over to the device. This should refresh all of the other licenses.
So these are all the possible solutions if you are satisfied then please don't forget to rate me as fixya..
