Could be a venting problem, the damp warm air needs to be vented from the machine for the clothes to dry, if it is not venting properly the clothes will not dry. Have a look to see if your vent pipe is blocked of kinked.
Are the clothes warm after cycle? If not heater coils may be bad. Is lint trap cleaned out? Have you checked the vent that exhausts the air to the outside? make sure it is cleaned and kink free and the air is flowing freely. If you can get to the end of the vent outside you could try running the unit and check to see if you're getting good air flow outside from the vent.
sounds like your clothes are not spun dry enough try spinning on maximum speed alternatively check your water pump is not partially blocked maybe you need to clean filter let me know how you went
if the clothes are not getting warm at all, heater element needs to be replaced. if they are getting warm, you need to check filter, exhaust tube and out side outlet for blockage

Take the top cover off and click the little red button on the thermostat/overload (small black box). Then try again. Sometimes these trip out as a safety precaution.
I think all you have to do (that's how I do it anyway), is turn the program knob so that the line is at the beginning of the drying stage (the little 'sun'), having first of course chosen the desired amount of drying time with the knob on the far left...

Is this a combo washer/dryer in 1 unit? water shoud not come out if it is just a dryer. Your air coming out of the back vent hose should be hot. If your clothes comes out of your WASHER damp (more than normal) then your washer is not spin drying good enough. (worn belt, clogged drainage system).
