its a suds sensor error. meaning tom much or the wrong detergent was used and it has clogged the wash cycle, you will have to try to run rinse cycles over and over to u clean it out if u can, some machines have an auto clean cycle for this problem, it is difficult to deal with as I have the same issue with one of mine and still not running right
I got the f35 and suds code repeatedly and my clothes weren't washed, I ordered from Sears the analog pressure switch that regulates the water coming into the washer and the codes went away, the part is esitmately $125.00 including shipping but you have to order from the Sears parts department. If you print a diagram of the washer it is #38 in the diagram and is easy to replace. You can install it yourself and as a female I did not call service to do it.
This advice is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet model front loading washers. If you experience a problem where the door becomes jammed and will not unlock or open, here's an easy way to gain access inside your washer WITHOUT calling the repairman.
1. Remove the lower panel under the door by loosening the three screws under the bottom edge on the front of the washer. HINT: If you prop up the front feet of the washer with some small blocks of wood, this will make access to the screws much easier. 2. With the screws removed, the lower panel should drop down then come off. If the panel sticks, a light tap on either side will knock it loose. 3. Reach your hand up inside the washer behind the front casing on the right-hand side. This is where the door latch assembly is located. 4. At the bottom of the door latch assembly is a small pull tab. This is the manual release for the door. Pull the tab straight down and the door will come open.
Sometimes these doors will not unlock for whatever reason. If there are no error codes being generated, this could have just been a momentary glitch. If you see "Fdl" or "Fdu" error codes, these are usually indications of a failed door latch assembly and will require replacement.

suds is determined using the level sw located on top right rear side. remove top cover to see. most letter codes do convert to a f code. most common reason for suds error is use of standard detergent or too much detergent. running a empty load of fabric softener can clean the system. or rinse/spin with nothing. other common problem is this is a whirlpool product.
I had the same problem and I had to call my father-in-law. We took the top of the washer off and found the sensor that it talks about on this site. He said that there is a wheel in the plastic casing and it tells the ccu how much water is coming through. He said that I might have some calcium built up in the casing. He tapped it a couple of times and reconnected everything back. Now the machine is working fine and no more problems or codes. The sensor is easy to find. It is the one that is connected to the hot and cold fill valve and then it goes to the white sensor. That is the one that he tapped on.
