Turn printer off hold down on feed button and turn it on. This will produce a test page. Compare all your settings to the port settings that it is plugged into. It sounds like a buffer problem.

I TRY TO PRINT ONE PAGE AND THE PRINTER PRINTS MULTIPLE PAGES AND IT IS ALL GARBAGE.

This happens when you have the wrong driver software loaded into your computer. Try printing a test page directly from the printer. Hold the 'page feed' button as you power up the printer. This will tell you if the printer is working. If this is ok, try a different print driver in your computer.

Unistall the printer using the Control Panel

Go to Epsom www.epson.co.uk/

Obtain the drivers for the printer and copy them to a location on your hard drive re-install the printer using the Add Printer in the Printers and Faxes area if XP finds the LX allow it to install.

Once it is installed do a Print Test page , if the print is correct you are on a roll if not go to Device Manager and ask it to update the driver
It will ask you if you have a better driver say yes and point it to the entry you made on your hard drive

Screwy Print

could be a driver issue...
try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver
also make sure that the paper size that you are printing is correctly set on the driver..

you can either download the epson driver from epson.com/support or add the resident driver built in to your computer (if you are using xp)
