I got the same problem yesterday. I just unplugged the power from the subwoofer, then plugged today. Now the lights stayed a little longer then yesterday, but goes out again a little later. So I just unplugged and wait ultil tomorrow then I'll try again.

The sound bar suddenly stopped pairing with the subwoofer. The only sound is coming from the bar

I suggest turning off and unplugging everything from the power, then disconnect everything from each other. See if you can get it to pair again. Otherwise, please give more details on which model sound bar and subwoofer.
Thank you.

I got the same problem, my sub was working perfectly and suddenly one day it did't turned on, so I think it is the protection from the internal transformer, it needs to be changed but I don't know the model, if someone else knows I would appreciate the info because it is a really good subwoofer for the size...

Alesis M1 Active MKII Don't get power / Blue light is off

Sure they don't have power? Light breaks all the time on those things. If no power still, open it up and find out if there are any loose connections from the power leads. Bad power cable?

Subwoofer clip/distort problem

It's probably the amp in the subwoofer. Bad cable don't cause clipping. Nor, is an amp output likely to overdrive the subwoofer.

On second thought, why are you using an amp with it turned off? Have you tried turning on the amp whcih provides the signal to the subwoofer? That could well be your problem.

Sony Active Subwoofer noise

The circuit that should be turning the sub on and off based upon the presence of an audio signal is not working correctly and the sub is trying to reproduce 60 cycle hum. The unit needs service.

Powers on but no sound

Check the main amp fuse under the hood, even if it looks good just change it. Often times that light on the amp can come on just from the power amp tunon wire. Try a friends subwoofer box just to make sure the connectors on your box are good, and if that doesn't work then give me some more details....year/make/model of car, what kind of sub, what types of things do you see on the side of the amp....is there a green light as well as a red light?
