Good day,
I'm writing to you because I experience problems with my E-Mu 1616 Cardbus
There are several symptoms of my problem. But generally they concern
MicroDock. The first symptom is: the volume on the right channel is a little bit
lower than on the left. I don't experience this problem whilst being connected to
Cardbus Card headphones out, neither I see it on PatchMix. The second
symptom is that I can hear sound from different channels on the others. For
example, routing one sound to out number 2 I can hear it(rather silently, but still)
on the out number 3 or one. All of my problems has started when I was
playing gig and technical team was moving my stuff, then somehow card fell down the
table and that was it.
I have tried any possible software combination , ant the problem still exists, so it appears that it is a hardware problem.
If you could tell me possible ways to fix this I would be very helpful.
Filip

LEE - Couple things to try...
First, make sure you have the EDI cable plugged in between the microdock and the sound card. Yeah... sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised.
Secondly, uninstall the software (CAREFULLY FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS IN THE MANUAL). Once the software is uninstalled, reinstall the software (ONCE AGAIN, CAREFULLY FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS IN THE MANUAL). I've found that if you do not follow the directions word-for-word, things tend to not work.
If the above doesn't help, there's a chance that the microdock is burnt.
Out of curiosity... you didn't plug/unplug anything from the microdock with the microdock powered on, did you? This could be death, if you did...
