Acer aspire one stuck in safe mode - Acer Aspire One PC Notebook

1. Restart the Acer Aspire netbook by pressing the "power" button on the netbook's keyboard or by pressing the "CTRL," "ALT" and "DEL" keys at the same time.
2. During startup, hold down the "F8" function key immediately when you see the "Acer" splash screen and the option for entering "Setup."

3. Keep pressing the "F8" key until the "Advanced Boot Options" menu appears.
If you receive a "keyboard error," restart the Acer Aspire and repeat step 2.

4. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Safe Mode" selection on the "Advanced Boot Options" menu.
The arrow keys are located on the right-hand side of the Acer Aspire keyboard.

5. Press the "Enter" key to execute the "Safe Mode" selection.
The Windows operating system will now start in "Safe Mode" and you can perform a system restore or make needed changes to get your Acer Aspire to boot normally again.

try booting in safe mode by tapping f8 during boot

oh a fun one. Reset your bios to defaults. if that doesn't work then try a windows disk boot up. if that doesn't work you're screwed.

if you want any of your files from the computer first pull out the hdd buy a cord and transfer them to another computer.

When you get to the options screen, press safe mode.
Let it boot completely into safe mode.
Then do a normal restart. Should work

If it is stuck in boot loop and you cannot choose any of the options i.e.

Normal Mode
Safe mode etc

Then you can do one of 2 things but both will require your Operating system CD/DVD

1) repair the installation
2) Reintstall from fresh

in windows 7 F8 is the key of enable safemode

Does it boot into safe mode (Tap F8 key on booting)

If so then a driver is responsible. Simply boot into safe mode and type msconfig into start / run.

Tick everything except antivirus / spyware program.Reboot and tick the box that pops up.

Hard Drive error on the Disk most likely... Try to go to Windows "Safe Mode"... pressing F5 before you see the XP Logo and after you see the system information screens. Once in safe mode... run ScanDisk.
Open My Computer | Right Click C Drive | Left Click Properties | Tools Tab Run Check Disk for Errors... also check mark both boxes.
Reboot

Do you have any USB's or a mouse connected? If so remove them and try again.
