Stack washer/dryer spilled water on floor

When stacking your washer and dryer, your dryer should always be placed on top of your washer. To protect your dryer from damage and to make it easier to move,place a piece of cardboard on the floor and tilt your dryer on its back onto the cardboard.

As we could see new one are not compatible with older one as size and dimension of new washer are changed but in case you could try .It is simple just try compatibility of your older washer stack kit with new one in most new model

Assuming that you've installed the stack kit according to instructions, you should check the following:
1. The dryer should be securely attached to the washer and not wiggle or move. The washer must always go on the bottom of the stack.
2. Washer should be level and have all four level legs making solid contact with the floor, no wobbling.
3. Make sure the drain hose is not pinched or restricted (or there is not debris in the drain pump) as a slow pump out will accentuate vibration problems.
4. Make certain you've removed all of the washer packing bolts before using the machine (see owners manual for description.)
5. The floor must be solid with no "springy" or "spongy" feel. No matter what you do to the laundry set it will vibrate on a less than solid floor. This occurs on upstairs installations or other wooden floors, especially in an older home. Sometime the floor can be braced to stiffen it. Also, vibration pads are sold that might help minimize the vibration. The walking is a symptom of vibration.

Experience shows that most problems of this sort result from incorrect installation and/or flooring issues, not the laundry. You should not attach it to the wall. It is possible the washer has a problem in which case a technician would need to check the unit. They can check the suspension and drive system for proper operation.

Does the lid lock engage on the washer? If not, you will need to replace it with this new one.

f the iron heats but steams improperly, inspect the soleplate and clean the vents (see below) and flush sediment out of the steam chamber (see below). If the iron produces too much or too little heat, test the electrical cord . Also test and, if needed, adjust calibration of the thermostat (see the Appliance Controls Fix-It Guide).
If the iron does not spray properly, inspect and clean the nozzle (see below).
If the iron leaks or spits, clean the steam vents, nozzle, and tank.
If the iron sticks to fabric, clean or repair the soleplate. If the iron stains fabric, clean the soleplate, clean the tank with a commercial cleaner, and use distilled or filtered water

Their are screws between the washer and dryer. Undo those and the screws inside the dryer, next too and below the lint trap.

get a stacking kit from your local appliance strore that sells frigidaire. they ARE EASY TO STACK WITH THE KIT.
