If you radio doesnt save the stations either when you turn off the truck then it could be your wiring.. For example; Normally you have two power wires.. A red one(Accessory).. and a yellow one(Battery). The yellow one is like the memory.. and the red one powers the stereo when you turn the key. Try switching yours over.. See if that helps. Easily confused and you wouldnt really notice the difference.

1988 Olds 88 and blinkers won't come on. When I turn the hazards on they work. I tried putting the hazards on to see if we reset it but it did not.

The signal light switch on the steering column actibvated by the turn signal stick probably needs replacing.

Hooking up a new stereo

Go by a stereo shop and get an adapter for your car. It connects all of the correct wires to the aftermarket radio without damaging or removing wires from old connector.

New car stereo, after fitting the sound did nt come through although it switched on and the signal was working through the screen equilizer

khodor1huss- First of all who did the install, there is a good possibility that you are simply missing a wire that powers up the factory amp. What type of vehicle is it in,let me know and we can figure it out. cooltekMar,12/08
