If you have one of those deskjet printers with two heads: black and color, might be that heads us unaligned.
Look ar printe's utilities.
In tnis case your printer has an application to align the two heads avoiding this "double shaded" effect.
Your screen is defective. Screens are very expensive to replace but you might be able to find a used one on line. You will need the part number of teh screen it is located on the back of the LCD panel on a white sticker. Do a google search and see if anyone is selling it. You can try www.interliquidparts.com
