C-2557= ATDC Sensor abnormality to reset go to service mode, to enter service mode perform these steps, 1-press utility/counter button from the panel, 2-press check details, and press "STOP" 0,0, STOP 0,1 3-now you are in service mode, 4-click on tech rep mode,or Adjustment 5-now click on "Printer" 6-here increase the value, suppose you have 150, make it 170, press the clear button to clear it and enter new value which should be more than the previous one. press enter and exit from the service mode.

ATDC Sensor Failure
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is less than 7 % while the IU Motor is turning.
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is more than 19 % while the IU Motor is turning.

Remedy

1 Check the UN2 connector for proper connection and correct as necessary. 2 Remove the Developing Unit from the IU, and then replace UN2. 3 Run F8. 4 Change PWB-A. 5 Change PU1N.

Does the control panel say replace PC drum? You need to have the Drum/Developer and the Developing unit replaced. Make sure that the counters are cleared before removing the old unit and make sure F8 is run after the new image unit is installed
