Hp 670c deskjet will not print

My printer will not print. All my cables are set properly. The computer recognizes the printer but it just will not print. Help and support will not open to troubleshoot! Someone please send me a troubleshoot site to go to!

    I attempted to try Rafiques troubleshooting. I do have a low ink cartridge. Shouldn't the computer recognize the printer regardless and attempt to print? Or does the low cartridge automaticly stop any attempt to print!?

    Hi, my HP Desk Jet 670c just stop working. The empty tray light is blanking when I try to print a document, but there are papers in it. I'm using windows xp. Could you assist!

Dear Sir,

As soon as you Plugin the Ink Cartridges an alignment page should print. When you install a printer to a computer the Test page should come out. If nothing is happening then printer is faulty. If Printer is fit and fine then try using another computer. If nothing works out please let me know.

Printer doesn't print on command from PC. PC runs on Windows XP.
If your printer IS as shown here (Hp Deskjet 670c model), HP only offers this solution at this link:

1) First, Unplug the Printer from your computer.

2) GOTO "Control Panel", "Printers and other Hardware", then "Printers and Faxes", Then "Printer Tasks".

3) Select "Remove/Delete Printer".

4) RE-START your computer.

5) AFTER your computer is FULLY started, follow the instructions in the LINK (above) to set up your printer. BEGIN AT STEP TWO (2) of the Instructions fo the Directions in the Link that is shown Above!

What does yellow flashing lite on top right of deskjet 670C mean.
It indicates paper jam or out of paper. Try to see if somethings stack up inside.

Not able to set up
We could fight with your old one and try to get vista to see it, but your not a computer person HP dont support it and i think that road may just lead to more frustration for you so maybe best if we just get you to replace it, any new printer of any brand on market should be vista compatable.

Double check specifics on HP officejet 4315 all in one and it is compatable, as I would say is any new printer on the market.

1:46PM 12/31 in my world, well 31/12 actually, and my computer says your 12/30 post was done on the 31/12, so no idea if it is before 10am:-)
