Washer walks on spin cycle, leveled unit and put carpet under it and it still walks on spin cycle only. I have had this washer for 7 years, just started recently doing this.

This is a sign of machine out of balance. If it has been OK for some time, until now, I would look at the balance springs (usually three of four holding to bowl to the outside of the machine, and see if one has come off, or is rusted through. Either fix or replace.
Does the machine spin just fine with no washing in?

On the spin cycle my miele walks acrossed the floor

make sure you loads are balanced, put heaviest clothes in first... if you can rock it by hand then the legs are not adjusted properly. If you stand 2 feet away from front of machine, jump up and down and see it move the floor is soft and you need 2 sheets of plywood to make 1 1/2 inches put under the machine

Washer is "walking" during the spin cycle

I have the same Duet that vibrates heavily during spin cycle. Leveled the unit with no success (our unit is mounted on the high base). Long story short, I went to Lowes and purchased a package of 4"X5" self stick foam rubber pads called Grippers by Wasman Consumer Group and paid a low price of $3.50. Since the washer walked forward, I cut one of the two Pads in the package in half, removed the sticky side paper protector and centered a half, sticky side to washer pad, to each front washer pad. The problem was solved.

I made sure the round floor pads of the washer were tight and the unit was level before attaching the Grippers. Hope this helps.

Off balance

make sure you have all the shipping material out of unit..4 bolts in back and styrofoam under tub if so ,then get a adjustable wrench ,,,put unit in drain spin cycle or spin cycle only..when unit gets to fastest spin ,,thats will come when its about 8 minutes left..tighten each leg lock nut on unit until unit stops vibrating..only turn the lock nut not the leg..only adjust lock nut on legs in high speed spin

Walking Washer

due to weight and normal motion during wash/spin a very sturdy floor is necessary under front loads also some floors are a little slick and sliding may occur ck for weak floor and maybe some kind ok rough cushion under feet to reduce sliding also if on pedistals even more vibration may occur be sure all screws in pedistal are secure usually 4 from top onto bottom of washer also adj legs to lower unit as close to floor as possible and tighten lock nuts

Whirlpool duet sport..vibrates during spin and "walks"..on pedistal.sitting on tile

I just bought this washer and had two problems with it. 1 the vibration at medium spins and 2. a squeeking spring (every time the drum rotates a little squeek, but when spinning the squeek sounds constant.

What I discover in solving both my problems with the same solution. I had to ensure all 4 feet well on the ground and that the top of the washer was perfectly level. At one time I was out only about 2 mm on one side, but the bubble was slightly to one side on the level but still in between the level's markers. I tested with a load, and both problems were still there. Turn feet 1/2 turn on the side needing adjusting. Ran another load and you guessed it, no squeak, no vibration, spinning was quiet, I had to go over to check to see if the machine was going through the cycles. I couldn't believe that a few millimeters could make such a difference.

Now I am pleased with the performance, not to mention how clean the clothes are and the savings on water and drying.

Walking during the spin cycle

Try placing it on a rubber mat or carpet that has a rubber backing. The floor may be too smooth and allows it to walk.

UNBALANCED WASHER

Does it happen all the time, with no connection to laundry quantity? In case of a positive answer, it sound like a shock absorber issue. Could be that it's moved from its place or become malfunction and should be replaced. Good luck
