I have tried all of the suggestions in the forum including a factory reset but my Toshiba Excite Tablet remains in safe mode. How do I remove the tablet back to normal mode?

Most likely it is dead. If you tried a real factory reset, then just look for another tablet. Toshiba is not going to help you as, from my experience, they do not care after they sell you the prodcut and it gets out of warranty.

Consider Samsung.

My tablet cant come on anymore it just shows the logo when put on charge

You probably are going to have to reset the tablet as the operating system has most likely been corrupted. All tablet are basically the same in doing so by, holding down the power button until the tablet shuts off completely by itself. (Not by tapping "Power Off" like you would usually). Now you must hold the power and either the up or down volume key down at the same time until it boots into recovery mode, similar to this image. 09af6080-1a0b-4002-a1de-14c2ffbdb610.jpg
Choose the option "data factory reset" by using the volume keys to navigate and the power key to select.

Granted you will loose everything that is on your tablet but it is usually the only option you have at this point.

If this does not work you will have to find a different method to re-install the operating system image file.

I will suggest that you sign-up and check out this wonderful site by going here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ for more options and answers on recovery or installing a different operating system.

Happy Surfing! :)

Cant get my samsung tablet to turn on

Your tablet's battery is probably dead. This may be because you have a bad battery, a bad charger, or a bad charging cable. Try using a different cable first and let it charge for a few hours - even if it doesn't look like it is charging.

If the new cable doesn't do it, try using a different charger. Samsung devices are picky about what charger you use, so try to use one made for your tablet. If you don't have another charger, plug it into a PC's USB port with the PC turned on. Leave them on and plugged in over night. That should trickle charge your tablet.

If neither of those work, try holding down the power and the Volume Up buttons. Keep them both pressed until the Samsung logo/boot screen comes up - should only be a couple seconds. Once the logo comes up release the power button but keep holding the Volume Up button. That will boot you into Recovery Mode. If that comes up, it means you've got power and your tablet isn't broken, but there is something wrong with the Android OS that is keeping your tablet from powering up normally. Use the Volume Up and Down buttons to move the selection highlight to the Factory Reset option. This will wipe all the info off your tablet and put it back into a "brand new just out of the box" state. You'll lose your information on the tablet, but this should fix the boot problem. Press the power button to chose the Factory Reset option. It will take a few minutes. Once it says that it is done, select the Reboot or Restart option. It should reboot. This boot will take longer than normal, since its wiping things out. But not more than a few minutes.

I have forgotten my pin code for my supersonic SC-74MID tablet. How do I reset it?

I don't know which OS your tablet uses... perhaps Jelly Bean. If so, if you push the Power button and the "Power Off" option shows up on the screen press the selection of "Power Off" and hold your finger down on it until a pop-up screen shows a selection of: Boot into "Safe Mode". Choose that and what happens is it boots up with no applications loaded. You should then be able to access the "Settings" and then choose "Factory Data Reset" option. Hope this works

My toshiba r15-s822 says it has no drive and gives a (Ide#0 ERROR) i had a virus and i formated the drive a while back and i got a new windows xp install but i cant seem to load it cause it wont show the...

Xp can only "See" a hard drive up to about 128GB, if its bigger than that, XP won't install.

Make sure your drive is properly connected, and jumper in the right place (1 drive, set to master)
If it used to work before your problem, should be ok.

Then boot from your windows disk. If your bios is set to boot from the hard drive, if there's no operating system on your hard drive it can't boot.

If its set to boot from the hard drive first, it may, after a few seconds revert to booting from the disk drive. If not, while booting watch the screen, at the bottom it you should see "Press F2 for setup or F10 for boot options" or something similar. To temporarily change the settings, choose the boot options menu and select "Boot from CD". Restart and you should be on your way.

If that doesn't work, you may need a new hard drive.

I want to know how to reinstall toshiba portege m200

This is in case you cannot boot into windows but you can get into bios:
Open your disk drive. Insert windows operating system disk into your disk drive. Restart your computer.
If you can get to the stage where you can see see bios entry key then keep pressing whatever key it is that you press to get into bios at start up.
Select the option that let's you choose the drive to boot from, mine is in advanced bios options. then go to either something like bios features or change boot drive.select whatever drive represents your CD-ROM drive and select it to be the first boot drive.
then save exit bios, I do this by pressing escape then Y to save and boot from the rom drive.
This will let you restart your installation of windows and
re-format the drive...
If you can boot into windows:
Then either re-format the drive and delete the partition when you do or...
Run a recovery of the system by installing your disk and letting it get to the stage wher it asks what action/task you want to perform and press r when prompted then follow the prompts to repair the files. This might not work though,
you could even try running a disk check as maybe a lucky chance of repair if you can get into windows.
If your PC keeps trying to boot from the CD drive after repair then re-enter bios at start up and change your hard drive back to first boot device to boot into windows.

It's better if you re-format though as repairing windows can be a little tricky.

"Operating System Not Found" in Compaq Tablet PC TC 1000

That means it is unable to see your harddrive. Unlike a tower computer a laptops harddrive plugs straight into the motherboard this cannot be a cable fault.
Either the harddrive has died or the motherboards drive controller has gane bad.
You will need to seek profesional help to deal with this, the only thing you can do your self would be to swap the harddrive with another and see if you get a Windows stop message, your machine would not be able to start the Windows of another machine because of hardware differences, but if you got a Windows error message at least it would tell you if your harddrive was dead or not.
