Drivers

Hello crsicasi23,
I've given you a "Link to the Website,"
where you can "Download: "ATI Radeon 9200 Graphic Card "Drivers."
If you 'look' in the (right) area of the 'screen' you will see, "Download Drivers!
"Enter the information requested to get the 'correct' Drivers."
e.g: {OS} XP, Vista or Windows 7?
"Download the Drivers."
"Restart the computer!"
You should be "Good to go."
If there's anything else I can help you with?
"Write a 'comment;' I'll get back to you as soon as possible."
Have a 'Good Day'.

I cant use my driver installer for ati radeon 9200 with windows 7

According to the AMD/ATI website, that video card chipset only supports Windows 98/98SE, ME, Win 2000 and XP. There's no mention of Windows Vista. Given that this isn't a relatively recent AMD/ATI release, it may or may not be supported under Windows 7 properly. It's almost a sure bet it won't do AERO properly - especially if it only has 64 MB of onboard video memory.

If you've got it installed in a computer with XP loaded, you can download the Vista Upgrade Advisor from Microsoft. It will tell you if you're going to have any problems with Vista. Windows 7 has a very similar driver model - and Vista drivers can be made to work with Windows 7.

Good Luck,

I have dell workstition computer and my vag is ati ati radeon r200hd driver for win7 so i need to solve my problem plz

this is what i have found
Go to AMD/ATI’s website to download: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

You will have to load and install the Windows XP drivers as AMD/ATI does not have Vista/7 drivers for Radeon 9200 series. Do be aware that you may need to run the drivers in compatibility mode to get them to load. Also, since you will now be using XPDM drivers instead of WDDM drivers, you will lose a lot of the stability and performance benefits native to WDDM drivers.

See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd229906(VS.85).aspx for more information regarding the difference between XPDM and WDDM.

ATI mobility radeon 9200 on windows 7

I am using a HP Compaq Presario X1000 with a ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 display.

I have recently installed the Windows 7 RTM and tried various display drivers with no good results.

I am now using the driver from ftp.asus.com.tw/Pub/asus/nb/A4D/VGA_XP_2K_060102.zip

At first I unzipped the folder and run the setup program inside but it was not successful.

Then I go to the Device Manager, choose the display driver and choose "Update Driver"->"Browse my computer for driver software"->"Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"->"Have Disk"->"Browse"

click to the subfolder inside your extracted folder and find the folder named "2KXP_INF" and choose the inf files there and click "OK"

A list of device is displayed and I choose "ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9200"

the computer will install the driver and ask to restart the computer.

After restarting the computer my display was automatically set to 1680x1050, I found the following driver was installed:

Driver Provider: ATI Technologies Inc.
Driver Date: 1/19/2005
Driver Version: 6.14.10.6512
Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher

I went on to test Suspend and Hibernate and they WORKED!

I have not tried this on Vista as I was running XP and Ubuntu in the last few years.
