Fridge is leaking water-- pool appears overnight coming out from under fridge-- everything else is dry-- where is water coming from?? We DO NOT have the ice maker or water tube hooked up so it can't be from that, can it? Seems like too much water to be just condensation.

LOOK ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FREEZER. IS IT FULL OF ICE? IF SO YOU HAVE A DEFROST DRAIN PROBLEM. THE BEST WAY TO REMEDY THIS IS UNPLUG IT OVERNIGHT AND REMOVE THE BACK FREEZER PANEL YOU WILL SEE A HOLE THAT LEADS TO THE DRAIN PAN. YOU NEED TO CLEAR THIS, COMPRESSED AIR WORKS BEST.

Samsung RSH1JBBP Fridge Freezer is intermittently leaking small amounts of water from inside the fridge. It pools at the front right caster. Ice and water dispenser used occasionally. Not sure if...

I have a different fridge but had the same problem in the same area last year. Have you taken the front grill off the bottom and cleaned/vacuumed under the fridge at all? The dust build up there and behind the fridge panel builds up large enough for the fridge to not be able to cool itself causing condensation/drippage of this type. Reminder warning.. be sure to shut all power off before vacuuming out behind the back panel of the f fridge, that's where the fan turns. Hope this fixes the problem for you as it did for me!

Whirlpool refrigerator is leaking water

If the water is pooling around the bottom of the fridge I would pull the fridge out and pull the panel of the back of the fridge and check to make sure the black plastic drain pan is in place and the white or clear plastic hose coming from the bottom of the fridge is aimed at the drain pan, if they are not then that would be why you have water pooling up under the fridge. Generally the Walter gos into the drain pan after defrost and the heat from the discharge lie of the compresser evaporates the water and it should never overflow. Hope this helps

It leaks water from underneath

If the water is coming out from under the fridge and you have a water dispenser or automatic ice maker, then I would suggest that you pull the fridge out from the wall and check the water tubing going to the back of the fridge. The tubing is connected with a compression fitting (a special nut that compresses the tubing to the fridge. There may also be a few more pieces of tubing on/in the back of the fridge with these fittings. Place you fingers on each fitting to see if it is loose or wet. If you find a wet or loose fitting, take some pliers and tighten it (snug it up, but not too tight because you can damage the fitting. Dry up the water. Watch the fridge for a while to make sure the leak is stopped. If you can't get it stopped, or if it gets worse, you can cut off the water (there should be a valve under a cabinet next to the fridge, or under your sink). You can get a replacement fitting at Lowe's2_bing.gif and they can tell you how to install it if necessary. If you have water pooling under your fridge and it goes up to the wall, then you should check on the other side of the wall for water also. This happened to our fridge, but we did not see the water in front of the fridge because it ran to the back of the fridge and under the wall into our carpet on the other side. Wet carpet is how we discovered the problem.

it seem that you have a clogged freezer drain. you can fix this by first turn off the unit leve all door and let it thaw about 4 to 6 hours or longer. if this doesnt cure the problem then repeat above procedure but this time open the plastic cover on the freezer and clean out the drain make sure all drain are unclogged also while your at it check the operation of the drain heater pan underneath the unit. and lso check the operation of the defrost timer. hope it help you.

Water continuously running to fridge, overflowing?

Hi, if the only way you could stop the water was to turn it off at the water source, you need to change the water inlet valve. Make sure you check the water fill line for any leaks before you change the valve.
If I canassist you in getting the vavle, please let me know.

Thanks

Heavy water leak in basement under fridge

Has this fridge got an ice maker???
Because ice makers require a water supply to make ice.
This could be where your water is coming from.

Fridgidaire Gallery Series Side by Side Refridgerator

"jennycub" sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all taht ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youl melt everything) or by pouring hot water donw the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine. very common problem( easy to detect. water on the floor of freezer compartment) as far as the other posting by" humblerumble", ive seen where the drain tube under the refig has pushed a hole into the drain pan under the refrig, in which case it will only leak after a defrost cycle, with the kickplate removed grab a flashlight and look under the unit for the drain pan as you pur water into the back of the freezer sect to trace water flow
