Panasonic Viera Remote Control is locked

I understand that the only channel you are currently getting is channel 116 and that your remote is not responding. Do any buttons at the top light up on the remote when you try to change channels? If so, what button lights up in red or green? if any button other the SAT button lights up this means that the remote is not on SAT mode and this would be why is not responding. In order to put the remote in SAT mode press the SAT button for 3 seconds. Once you do this try using the remote. If you click on the TV button on your remote control. I believe that this puts the TV back into Digital mode.
You can also go to the Main set up menu to get into the various tuning options by pressing the MENU button on your remote. There are some devious little settings hidden away in there.
My TV was not showing that it had HDMI when I selected AV inputs...I eventually found that it was able to be restored through the MENU access.

The remote might be defective. Repalce fresh batteries and check. If it do not help you, buy an other remote

Have you replaced the batteries? If you have, which mode button lights up when you press Select on the remote? I have provided instructions on how to readdress the remote to your receiver. If this doesn't work, you may need a new remote.

Hi, sometimes if multiple buttons on a remote are pressed at the same time, the remote will try and send both codes and the unit it is designed to control won't respond because it doesn't recognize the signal. Those signals are usually sent no matter what button is pressed after until you do a reboot on the remote. The first thing I would do, if you haven't already, is replace the batteries in the remote. The lights will still illuminate if the batteries are low but won't perform the remote functions. If that doesn't fix the problem, the remote may need to be readdressed to the receiver. I have provided the steps below. If you have further problems, please respond to the site.

Guys it's really easy just press on-off and tv at the same time, until de on-off botton turns on. Point the Remote at the TV DVD or SAt and press it 3 sec max. until the tv turns off. then press the stop button and that's it...
