How to transfer music/video from iPod to PC/iTunes 9

Anyone who has seen an iPod will understand the basic concept behind the design of the iPod touch: a 3.5-inch There are plenty of reasons why you want to transfer your music/video from iPod to iTunes or PC. For example, you may want to make backup your iPod music/video in case of hard drive crash, to retrieve iPod music/video when you accidentally deleted a song or video from your hard-drive, to share your music/video with your friend, to use your iPod with different or more than on computer, or to copy music/video to your new iPod.

Apple's iTunes really does work when it pulls iTunes purchased content off your iPod. The new iTunes 9 makes it easier to share music/video, movies, TV shows, and more. With Home Sharing, you can browse the iTunes libraries of up to five authorized computers in your house, import what you like, and automatically add new purchases made on any of the computers to your own library.

The iTunes 9 is nice for sharing the iTunes purchased content, but how to share the rest of your content of iPod with your friend, you'll need some additional software. There are a lot of programs that can transfer iPod content to iTunes 9 and PC. But from the point view of both functionality and simplicity, there is an iPod music/video Transfer which works well with all models of iPods including the latest iPod Touch 3G and iPod Nano 5G. Let's find it out.

The program is Wondershare iPod Transfer. By which, you can transfer usic/video between your iPod and PC freely, and you can transfer music/video to iTunes easily. First, connect your iPod to computer, and then you can do the following steps easily.

Transfer music/video from iPod to PC

Select one or more files in the file list, and click 'to-compter', then you can transfer iPhone music/video to your computer to share with your friends.

Copy music/video from PC to iPod directly

Select one or more files in the file list, and click 'to-ipod', then you can copy music/video from your PC to iPod directly without synchronizing iTunes.

Transfer music/video from iPod to iTunes 9

Just like copying music/video from iPhone to computer, you need to check video/audio files and then click 'to-itunes' The program will automatically open your iTunes after transferring is done.

This iPod Transfer works well on all models of iPods to transfer music and video from iPod to PC and iTunes.

I had to buy a new computer because the old one died and now I can not sync my itouch 2nd gen, 8GB to it because it has previously been sync'd to the old one. I can not have two libraries and I don't want...

so far i havent found a good solution for you unless you still have the music on the old pc and can put your old hard drive in your new computer or i found this solution if you downloaded the music from itunes
  1. First, go to the iPod2.gif website at http://www.apple.com/downloads and download iTunes.
  2. Step 2 Next, open the iTunes2.gif software on your computer and log in with your account information.
  3. Step 3 Go to the store tab and select "Check for Purchases" from the menu.
  4. Step 4 The software will then download all of your iTunes onto your new computer.
hope this helps you out and sorry to hear about your old pc may it rest in peace

I keep on going to my apps but they keep cutting off?

New software version for ipod touch is 3.1.2 You got it downloaded yet?  Also, apps don't work right if you download them directly onto ipod cause your wi/fi might be unstable and you lose connection and download data temporarily.  Uninstall the apps and re-install on computer and then re-sync back onto ipod.
You should check if new updated versions are available for your apps.
A lot to think about for such a sleek unassuming pain in the as. digital contraption.

Music on apple 80 gig ipod

I honestly don't think you can. If the music isn't on your hard drive that is on your iPod then you WILL lose it if you sync it with the musicless iTunes. To my knowledge you have to re-download what's on your iPod (playlists and all) and if you add or subtract anything and sync that's what you'll have on your iPod.

IPod Errors

Distinct clicking, right? Your hard drive is about to crash completely. Other than the ticking, your problems are probably because the hard drive is not giving out the information it needs to because it can't. You need either a new Hard drive or a new player. once you get it all of you problems should go away.

I pod touch

ipods are only designed for itunes so windows shouldn't recognise media player, any way, the new software for ipod touches is greater, meaning your computer/windows media player wont recognise it, only itunes will.

You Itunes purchases have to be restored to the hard drive as well. Otherwise you will have to repurchase them. Itunes doesn't allow you to copy your purchased songs from your Ipod into the library on your hard drive. You can play them from Ipod as long as you enter you Itunes account information. Make sure your Ipod is set to manually manage music or you will wipe out the songs.
