Hi,
The problem could be several things, the first one could be a Flushing buffer error. That means that the printer did not understand the print job sent to it and has to be reset in order to continue printing. Second could be a memory full error where the print job sent to the printer is too big and the printer memory is not enough. The third could be the printer front door is not closing properly, make sure the toner cartridge is installed correctly and that the front door is closed. That's all I can think of right now.

I have an HP J4540 printer and it stopped working and the exclamation point keeps flashing. We do not know what to do - misplaced our manual. What is the problem?
Don't worry, Please press the Exclamation point, which is telling you some error has occurred while printing or scanning, once you will press the exclamation button that would stop blinking and try to print again, please let me know it works or not

How do I unlock the scanner on a dell laser MFP 1815 dn printer. I can't fax or copy anything. It says the scanner is locked.
There's a little blue toggle switch where the copies/scans come out from.
Pull the blue switch toward you, turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, and turn the printer back on.

Printing Stalled with flashing exclamation light
do a powerflee

1) unplug all cables including power cable.

2) press and hold the On/Off button on the printer for 20 seconds.

3) plug back the cables and try printing.

1. Make sure the new kit is installed and the printer is turned ON.

2. Open the front panel.

3. Hold the Cancel button in until the front panel LEDs flash.

  1. Press Power to turn your All-in-One off.
  2. Unplug the All-in-One.
  3. Check for paper jams.
